Eglinton Crosstown Is Making Connections

Sonic Condos are proud to be situated on the future Crosstown LRT at "Science Centre" station at Eglinton and Don Mills. The complete line will span 19km from Mount Dennis to Kennedy along Eglinton Avenue.

Since breaking ground on the project in November 2011, the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT has moved along steadily, with daily progress on new stations and tunnel-boring machines churning away underground every day. The tunnel-boring machines (TBM) are the workhorses of this project, displacing earth at a rate of 10 to 15 metres a day. Most recently, the city announced new station names for the 25 stops on the line. Names were chosen based on local destinations and nearby streets or landmarks. Sonic will be located right next to the stop known as "Science Centre", as the city's home to all things scientific is just down the road.

With a completion date slated for 2021, the Crosstown LRT will provide incredible opportunities to travel across the city, connecting east and west and, along with connections to the Yonge-University Line, north and south travel. At Lindvest, we can't wait to take a ride!
